Day 1 Arrival Arrive at Leh Airport

Prepare for a delightful vacation amidst the grand mountains of Ladakh! Witness the snow-capped highlands and get mesmerized by the exotic panoramic views. Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be greeted by our partner representative and transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle.

Day 2 Sham valley Tour.

Wake up to the splendid views of Leh, indulge in a light breakfast and head out for an excursion to Sham Valley. Make your first stop at Magnetic Hill to witness a gravity-defying optical illusion. You will be left astounded at the sight of vehicles going up the slope! Next, make your way to Patthar Sahib Gurudwara and seek blessings at the divine site. Continue on to witness the splendid confluence of the Indus River and Zanskar River. Click beautiful pictures and then sit down for a yummy meal. Lastly, visit the Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. Wrap up your day with transfers back to the hotel.

Day 3 Leh- Nubra Valley.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and get ready for a scenic drive from Leh to the Nubra Valley. Pass through the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world and click amazing pictures against the spectacular backdrops. Then, head to Desert Himalaya Adventure Park for a delicious lunch. You can choose to indulge in adventure activities like Ziplining here at your own expense. Next, continue to Khalsar Dunes for an exciting ATV ride at the world’s highest dunes. Reach Nubra Valley and check-in at your hotel or camp. Later, head to Diskit Monastery and witness the majestic Maitreya Buddha Statue. Wrap up the day with a visit to the coldest desert in India, Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy a riding on double-humped camels at your own expense.

Day 4 Nubra to pangong via Shayok .

Get set for a scenic drive to Pangong Lake today and experience its wondrous beauty! After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to the lake. Visit the popular spot where the movie ‘3 Idiots’ was shot or relish yummy food at any of the small restaurants around the banks. Later, witness a beautiful sunset by the lake as you delight in the cool breeze. You will also get to relish a yummy dinner at the camp.

Day 5 Pangong to leh via Changla pass

Check-out from the camp and begin your journey back to Leh. Cross the mighty Changla Pass, situated at a height of 17,000 feet as you grab breathtaking views of clear skies, fluffy clouds and majestic mountains. Make your way to Thiksey Monastery and enjoy an optional lunch. Then, continue your drive to Leh. Check-in at your hotel and relax. Later, you can enjoy shopping at the Leh Bazaar or visit Leh Jokhang, Leh Mosque on foot

.Day 6(RELAX IN LEH)

Relish a delectable breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Post lunch, head to Shanti Stupa for a magical views of Leh city. After that, Indulge in shopping at the Leh Bazaar or explore the Leh Jokhang and Leh Mosque as you take a stroll through the busy streets and return back to hotel on your own.

Here’s something that you will be proud of our defense personnel who sacrificed themselves so that we could live in peace. Magnetic Hill: Defying the Law of gravity. This place is close to the Gurudwara Shri Patthar Sahib. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up-hill that’s the Believe it or not of Ladakh! Confluence of The Zanskar & Indus: On way to Sham Valley before Nimu village one can have this magnificent view of two rivers in wed-lock! In seasons they have different colors and flow and wildness. Day 03 - Monastery tour

Hemis Gompa: 45 km from Leh Hemis Monastery is a monastery (gompa) of the Drukpa Lineage. The monastery was re-established in 1672 by the Ladakhi king Sengge Namgyal. Hemis Monastery has a beautiful architecture, which is quite interesting to witness. One can pay homage to the two large statues of Lord Buddha and Guru Rimpoche. Also, there is a museum that exhibits a large collection of Buddhist relics and several ancient items that suggest there existed a rich culture here. Thiksey Gompa: 19 Kms from Leh, spectacularly sited, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompas, containing images, stupas and wall paintings of Buddha, which are exquisite. Shey Palace and Gompa: Situated on a hillock 15 Kms upstream from Leh, it was once the residence of the royal family. According to tradition, it was the seat of power of the pre-Tibetan kinds. A 7.5 mts high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold and the largest of its kind, is installed here.

Day 04 - Pangong lake day tour subject to weather condition

Pangong Lake: Full day trip, after early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake drive 154 Kms. (5 to 6 hours) through Changla Pass (5,300 Meter, 17,350 feet) one of the highest motor-able road in the world. Visit the beautiful Pangong Lake forms a part of the border area between India and China. This Large, serene Lake at an altitude of 13,930 feet above the sea level has a brilliant colour variation including deep blue, turquoise etc. Overnight The Gawaling Ladakh.

Day 05 - Leh - Nubra Valley 120 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla, the Highest Motorable road in the World, having 18,380 ft. After lunch, enjoy the double hump camel safari at Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hunder Village. O/N Nubra Valley.

Day 06 - Hunder - Turtuk Valley

Nubra Valley, visit Turtuk village along the LOC. Pretty village. Overnight camp Turtuk Holliday camp Turtuk is the northernmost village of India situated in the Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir located in the Nubra tehsil, 205 km from the district headquarter Leh, on the banks of the Shayok River. It is the only Balti region under the Indian administration and was under Pakistan's occupation until 1971, after which India gained control over this strategic area. Geographically, Turtuk lies in the Baltistan Region and is one among four such villages in India, the other three being Tyakshi, Chalunkha and Thang in habitanted by Muslims. The residents of Turtuk and its adjoining villages speak Balti language along with Ladakhi and Urdu. Turtuk is the last outpost of India at Thang after which Pakistan occupied Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Turtuk is one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. Turtuk is very much famous for the availability of different varieties of fruits especially apricots.

Day 02 - Sindhu Ghat – Shey – Thiksey – Hemis – Leh

Start the day with a delicious breakfast of traditional delicacies and continental offerings. Then set out on a comfortable 3 – 4 hour drive through the amazing Ladakhi landscape to some of the most popular tourist destinations in the region: Sindhu Ghat, Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. Day 03 - Leh – Lamayuru – Alchi

After an early breakfast, set out for another day of fabulous sightseeing that begins with a scenic drive in the direction of Kargil. Soon, you will find yourself mesmerised by the beauty of the moonscapes of Lamayuru, and the sheer majesty of its monastery. En route you can also choose to spend time at the amazing Alchi Monastery, a monastic complex with monuments and scriptures dating as far back as 10th Century.

Day 04 - Sham Valley – Nimmu – Magnetic Hill – Likir Monastery – Leh

Wake up to the amazing landscape of the Sham Valley. After a delicious breakfast, set out towards Leh making many a stop at special attractions along the way like the amazing confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Nimmu, the natural marvel of Magnetic Hill, the Likir Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Hall of Fame.

Day 05 - Leh – Nubra – Khardung La – Treaty Road

In the world’s coldest desert, make an early start to the valley of flowers, Nubra, crossing one of the world’s highest motorable roads, Khardung La at 18,380 ft. Enjoy the beautiful 5 – 6 hour drive, and as you descend, behold the beautiful valley in all its hues. See Treaty Road, the famous ancient caravan trade route to Central Asia, and Kashgar and Yarkand in China.

Day 06 - Nubra – Leh

After breakfast, drive back towards Leh but only after making a memorable stop at the Samstanling Monastery in Sumor. Return to The Grand Dragon Ladakh for a night of leisure and luxury.

Day 07 - Leh – Pangong Tso

Another full day of discovery lies ahead. After an early breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake about 150 kms away. The 7 – 8 hour drive takes you over the gorgeous Chang La, the second highest motorable road in the world located at an elevation of 17,388 ft. As you arrive at Pangong Lake, be prepared to be astounded by its beauty.

Day 08 - Pangong Tso – Leh – Tsemo Monastery – Shanti Stupa –Leh

Wake up to the sun’s rays on the roof of the world, and get set for breakfast by the lakeside. Soak in the mesmerising Ladakhi landscapes on the leisurely drive back to Leh. Enjoy a delicious lunch of Indian and international delicacies at The Grand Dragon Ladakh.

Day 09 - Transfer to Leh airport

Then head just 8 kms out from the centre of town to the Spituk Monastery and find yourself transported to another world altogether in this amazing 11th Century centre of religion, art, culture and mystique.

Day 03 - Leh – Chilling – Alchi – Lamayuru – Leh

A crack of dawn, brace yourself for some adventure. Start for the day trip to Chilling, the age-old centre of metal craftsmanship in Ladakh, as well as the modern day starting point of the well-known Chadar trek. See the base camp on the frozen river, Zanskar and soak in the beauty all around while sipping a hot tea or coffee. Then it’s onwards to Ladakh’s oldest monastery in Alchi where you will enjoy a traditional Ladakhi lunch.

Day 04 - Leh – Thiksey –Chemrey – Hemis – The Oracle – Leh

Wake up to a perky cup of tea or coffee and make an early start to join the mystical Morning Prayer session at Thiksey monastery. Be mesmerised by the sound of hundreds of young and old lamas chanting together to the haunting sound of their singing bowls. Afterwards, visit a local home nearby for a delicious Ladakhi breakfast.

Day 05 - Transfer to Leh airport
